Classroom Rules

 1. Follow directions.

 2. Raise your hand before speaking.

 3. Stay seated unless you have permission

    to get up.

 4. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

 5. Show respect to self, others, and school. 

 6. Never settle for anything but your best!

     

Our classroom discipline plan encourages positive behavior and rewards students

for good choices they make. If a student demonstrates good behavior, he or she

will be invited to attend a Good Conduct Party at the end of each month.

Time-Out Policy

 Just as positive behavior will have positive rewards, negative behavior will have

  negative consequences. Each student is expected to follow school and classroom

rules. If he or she chooses not to, the following will occur-               

1st time-Verbal Warning

2nd time-Name on Board

3rd time-Name on board with checkmark, TIME-OUT, and Note to Parent in Planner

First Time-Out Offense

One Recess Time-Out

Second Time-Out Offense

One Recess Time-Out

Third Time-Out Offense

One Recess Time-Out

No Good Conduct Party

Fourth Time-Out Offense

One Recess Time-Out

No Good Conduct Party

Parental Notice Sent Home for Signature

Fifth Time-Out Offense

One Recess Time-Out

No Recess for Five Days

No Good Conduct Party

Parental Notice Sent Home for Signature

Sixth Time-Out Offense

One After School Detention

No Recess Until Detention Served
