Mrs. Feig's 3rd Grade Reading Class

Hi Parents, students, and interested persons:

It is so hard to believe that we are so far through our school year, getting ready for spring break, and finishing up ISATs with the third graders. We are all doing our sunshine and good weather dance so the students can get outside and get some fresh air--as this has been a strange winter.

After we get back from spring break, we will be reading The Mouse and the Motorcycle, by Beverly Cleary. It is a wonderful book, full of adventure and imagination. Some of the kids are familiar with it and can't wait to begin. The kids are great, and I love reading time with them--a time for me to open their eyes to the FUN of reading and a time to have them tell stories (they have a million).

Please encourage your child to read at home. I have books they can check out and keep as long as they want. I am always ordering new books to help spark their special interests.
