************************************* FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FEAR FACTOR This year, students at Jordan Elementary School will be given opportunities to test their taste buds, challenge their minds, and improve their health! Students are invited to "face their fears" by tasting new and exotic fresh fruits and vegetables twice a week during the school year! These opportunities will be possible through the state of Illinois Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant that our school has received!

Former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher, Andy Benes and St. Louis Cardinals mascot, Fredbird, kicked off baseball week at Jordan Elementary School with their "Doin' It Right" program! The Cardinals Care organization also awarded our school with a Cardinals Care Grant which will be used to purchase new computers for our computer lab. The lab will be renamed the "Cardinals Computer Clubhouse"! ************************************* WALK FOR DIABETES
