Jordan School recently received a Goody's Good Deeds Grant for $10,000.  Money from this grant will be used to purchase playground fitness equipment in honor of first-grade teacher, Michele Cavaletto.  In addition, Jordan School also received a $5,000 grant from Lowe's which will be used to landscape our school.  Both grants were written by teacher, Kristina List.  Congratulations to Mrs. List and
to Jordan School!

Why Try Artice

Amber Lee, Mrs. Lee's daughter and a student at Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois, recently visited Mrs. Lee's second grade classroom to discuss her college experience.  Amber is a nursing student.  Amber talked with students and answered questions for students.  She plans to be a pen-pal with students throughout the school year.
